I started to work in the travel industry straight from college in 2001 as an apprentice at Callers Pegasus. In my time in travel I have worked for The Co-operative Travel and Thomas Cook, before starting my role as senior travel consultant at Kyle Travel in 2018 and I have since been promoted to Branch Manager in Barnard Castle in August 2022 and from May 2024 I now manage both the Barnard Castle and Yarm office.
I love working for Kyle Travel!!! I love the customers, the people I work with, just everything about it.

Favourite destination:
My favourite sunny destination is definitely Greece. I plan to visit a lot more of the Greek Islands, the traditional Greek resorts are just so relaxing and beautiful. I love the food and the people and I enjoy exploring off the beaten track. I have lots of great memories of Greece
My favourite, not so sunny destination, is Norway, I was very lucky to have the opportunity to experience a Norwegian Fjord cruise with Fred Olsen. This was an amazing experience!!!! The scenery was out of this world and much better in real life. Everyone has to visit the Norwegian Fjords at least once in their lifetime. I’m definitely going back.
India is up there with my favourite places visited, this was one of the best experiences of my life. The contrast between the different places we visited was fabulous, seeing the Tigers in the wild at Ranthambore National Park to getting the famous ‘Diana pose’ picture at the Taj Mahal, it was just amazing and something that I will never forget.

Well ………… My bucket list is VERY long.
Las Vegas is definitely on my list and I would love to visit the Caribbean maybe on a cruise so I can explore and enjoy so many different Islands as possible. Norway and Greece are also places I would love to re-visit.
Last holiday:
My last holiday was with my family in Kefalos, Kos.
The weather was beautiful, the people were very friendly and the restaurants were lovely. We were eating fish that were freshly caught that day…..delicious.
We hired a car in Kos and explored the Island, there are so many beautiful beaches. All in all great fun was had by all and I would definitely recommend Kefalos for a quiet family holiday away from it all.

Always Use a Travel agent!!!!!
