Two Countries, One Adventure: Morag's South American Cox & Kings Tour to Argentina & Brazil 2025
At Kyle Travel, we love hearing about incredible journeys and Morag’s recent trip to South America with Cox & Kings sounded absolutely amazing! From Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls and Rio, she experienced history, culture, stunning landscapes, and plenty of delicious food. Here’s Morag’s experience:
"We all met at London Heathrow on Saturday 29th March at 6pm, buzzing with excitement. Ten of us, including Craig, our Scottish Cox & Kings rep, set off on the adventure of a lifetime, flying to Buenos Aires via Rio de Janeiro.

Day 1 - Buenos Aires – Tango, Empanadas & Evita
We arrived in Buenos Aires and were met by our rep, Sandra, who took us to the 5* Madero Hotel. My room had a balcony overlooking the canal, and after a quick refresh, we explored La Boca and San Telmo, enjoying colourful streets, tango dancers, and empanadas that reminded me of Cornish pasties. That evening, we wandered along the riverbank before a delicious Italian dinner.
Day 2 :
After breakfast at the hotel, we toured Buenos Aires. From the sleek financial district to the European-style north, the city was full of contrasts. We visited Recoleta Cemetery, home of Evita Perón, and toured the Alvear Art Hotel and Sofitel Buenos Aires Recoleta Hotel. Palermo Soho stole the show with its urban art, bohemian vibe, and boutique hotels like NUSS and Legado Mitico. That night, we were mesmerised by a tango show at La Ventana, enjoying authentic Argentinian dishes while watching incredible dancers.

Day 3 : Iguazu Falls – Nature’s Thunder
We flew to Iguazu Falls and checked in at the Gran Melia Iguazu, inside the Argentinian National Park. The views were breathtaking! We explored boardwalks and catwalks close to Garganta del Diablo and Salto San Martin, before relaxing by the infinity pool and enjoying cocktails with a jungle and waterfall view.
Day 4 :
Crossing into Brazil, we experienced Iguazu from a different perspective at Parque Nacional Foz do Iguaçu. The sweeping panoramic views were truly unforgettable, and walking the accessible trails brought us up close to the sheer power and beauty of the falls. Seeing both sides offered a complete and awe-inspiring picture of this natural wonder.
This journey has been filled with incredible moments from thrilling adventures to rich cultural encounters and stunning landscapes. It’s been an experience I’ll always remember, with memories that will stay with me long after the trip ends."
